Ladies 1st XI Kit

As many of you know, a small team is working hard to secure existing and new sponsors for the seasons ahead and I am pleased to say that we have been successful in securing a new sponsor for our Women's first team whose existing deal expired at the end of this season. 

As we therefore need to provide new shirts for the squad, we have taken this opportunity to look at different team kit solutions, although given our women's first team currently play in Adidas branded kit, this will not impact the rest of the club. Whilst I think most of use are very happy with our current Canterbury kit supplied by a company called MDH, we want to test out some alternatives and ensure we have options for the future should we choose to exercise them.  

Some members will no doubt be aware of Y1 Hockey https://www.y1sport.com/, a dedicated hockey brand who supply kit to a range of clubs, including many in the national leagues. We think this is a good opportunity to trial a successful brand and supplier for the coming season on a limited basis.

This change only impacts the Women's first team and there will be no requirement (or indeed opportunity) for other club members to buy Y1 kit. We will keep you all updated on how this trial goes and will seek feedback on things like quality and the club shop experience.
